PostDoc opening:

A postdoctoral position (for one year renewable up to 3 years) will be available in our group at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid (Dept. of Theoretical Physics) to work at the frontier between statistical mechanics and machine learning. The postdoc will be supervised by Aurélien Decelle and will have to the possibility to work on various aspects related to generative models and the Restricted Boltzmann Machine in particular.

We are looking for good candidates with a background in theoretical physics (statistical mechanics, spin glasses) and/or in Machine Learning. The candidate should send a curriculum, a letter presenting his motivation and contact for two possible reference letters.

Applications posted before the 20th of May will be considered with priority, but the position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found. This position is expected to start around the last semester of 2021 (beginning of september at the soonest).
