In a fitting ending to my time here at INRIA , our paper on the ScatterDice project has been named Best Paper at IEEE InfoVis 2008 ! The paper will be presented during the first paper session on the morning of Sunday, October 19.

As of today, I am now an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University . Check this page for updates on my new website.

This fall I will be joining the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University as an assistant professor!

» Two CHI 2008 papers! (2007-12-10)

Two of my papers have been accepted for publication at ACM CHI 2008--- Melange and 3D motion constraints! The conference will be held April 5-10, 2008 in Florence, Italy.

Despite Air France strikes and various airline delays, we had a great time attending IEEE InfoVis/VAST this year. The conference was held in Sacramento, CA. Lots of people and many interesting papers. Great event!

Thanks to my mentor---Jean-Daniel Fekete---and funding from Microsoft Research, I will be extending my contract at INRIA for another year. Great news!

I have added BibTeX export functionality to the website, allowing me to automatically create BibTeX entries for my publication database. Take a look!

» Attending VR 2007 (2007-03-12)

I am currently attending IEEE VR 2007 and enjoying this nice conference. Lots of good sessions to attend and many interesting people to meet.

Today I arrived in Paris, France, for my stay as a postdoctoral researcher at the In-Situ lab at Universite Paris-Sud. I don't start working until January 2nd, so I will have some time to settle in and see the city before I go back to work.

My new website is slowly coming together as I learn XSL/XSLT.
