Most creativity of the animation is in the hand of the animator.
The animation module has been designed through several iterations to
fulfill their needs.
Animators work on a light box. We have reproduced most of their
functionalities:
- stacking drawings (as with tracing paper),
- turning the light on or off, for stacks as well as individual
drawings,
- changing the position of underlying drawings without actually
modifying the drawings themselves,
- quickly flipping between successive sketches to find and check
the best stroke position for a movement, and
- zooming, panning and turning the viewport.
