Production Management

• Each person has a machine to fulfill her/his task,
• We use the room metaphor and assign one task per room,
• Files are stored in an asynchronous distributed database,
• The production can be managed and monitored from several sites,
• We use an "optimistic" locking mechanism because file conflicts should not occur.
