Howard Goodell

Last June I finished a doctorate in Computer Science   (thesis)  with Georges Grinstein at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and came to Paris for a post-doctoral year with Jean-Daniel Fekete. I am part of the Aviz and InSitu projects at the French research agency INRIA at the University of Paris 11   (LRI)   Paris 11.

I am working on visualizing huge networks like the evolutionary relationships between the genes of 400 complete bacterial genomes and links between the 500,000 articles of French Wikipedia. See a Research Report

I am seeking a Computer Science professorship, research or industry position this fall with a focus on visualization and bioinformatics.   CV.   Resume
