QosCosGrid Meeting in Paris, Feb-2007

The goal of this meeting is twofold:

• Technical meeting
• Second management meeting

Hotels

You can find here a map of 2-stars and 3-stars hotels nearby the RER-B (suburban train without connexion to Orsay-Ville, Orly airport and Charles-De-Gaulles airport) and close to the main location of the meetings (research ministry, on the right side of the map).

Location

There will be two locations for the meetings:

• Monday 26th, we will meet at the Orsay University, in the LRI. To come to the LRI, follow this link. The best way is to come Using RER B to Orsay, then walk up the hill to the LRI. It is a 7 minutes walk, with a bit of cardio-training for the last 100m.
• When inside the LRI, we will use two meeting rooms. The main one is room 101, located in the first floor. Go up the stairs inside the building. The room is in the left corridor on the right side, before the metalic doors. If you need assistance to locate LRI or the meeting room, you can call our assistant, Gina Grivsard at +33 1 69 15 76 55, or 5 76 55 using the wall-phones inside the building.
• 27-02 to 02-03, we wil meet at the french research ministry. You will need to show an ID (passport) at the gate to access the meeting rooms. Your name will have to be registered, so if you don't appear in the following "participant" matrix, send a mail to herault <at> lri <dot> fr. The ministry is located in the hotel map by an empty blue marker (no stars). Its address is 25, rue de la montagne Sainte Genevieve, Paris

Accomodations

The meeting of 26-Feb will be held in LRI (Laboratoire de Recherche en Informatique), building 490 of the university Paris-Sud. Follow this link to go to the LRI.

• 26-Feb: Rooms 101 and VisioConf of the LRI. The plenary session meeting room is 101.

Meetings of 27-Feb to 2-Mar will be held in the Research Ministry in Paris. Depending on the day, we have different rooms of different sizes. The participant matrix indicates which rooms are used which day. The rooms are labelled L*** or JA**. L denotes the Langevin Building, JA denotes the Joffre Building. Ask for the direction at the gate of the ministry (and ask each day, since the rooms change each day).

• 27-Feb: L213 and L215. The plenary session meeting room is L213.
• 28-Feb: L214 and L212. The plenary session meeting room is L214.
• 01-Mar: JA01 and L212. The plenary session meeting room is JA01.
• 02-Mar: L214 and L212. The plenary session meeting room is L214.

Use the entrance located at "25 rue de la Montagne Ste Genevieve". Participants will have to show their passport at the entrance gate to access the meeting rooms. Also, participants not registered before the meeting will not be authorized to access the room, so please send a mail to herault<at>lri<dot>fr to be registered in time.

We will take lunches at the ministry restaurant. There is a single price for the restaurant of 11€90 per lunch, and participants have also to be registered. PLEASE, come with enough change to buy all your restaurant tickets on the day of arrival. I will collect the change and get the tickets and the bills.

Social Event: We can dine together the evening of Mar-1 in a restaurant. The restaurant will be chosen nearby the meeting location, and booked for all participants.
