for her contributions to Human-Computer Interaction and her leadership in ACM SIGCHI

ACM's most prestigious member grade recognizes ACM members for their outstanding accomplishments in computing and information technology and/or outstanding service to ACM and the larger computing community. Fewer than 10 French researchers have been awarded ACM Fellow.

Wendy Mackay was recognized for her contributions to Human-Computer Interaction, Mixed Reality and Participatory Design, and for her leadership in ACM SIGCHI (Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction). 

She is also a member of the ACM SIGCHI Academy, and received the ACM SIGCHI Lifetime Service award en 2014.

Yannis Manoussakis passed away

We have just learned of the death of Yannis Manoussakis, Professor at the University of Paris-Saclay, on Saturday June 5.

He was the leader of the GALaC team and had been for many years director of the LRI, we lose a friend and a dear colleague.
