Résumé :
The goal of the talk is to give an overview of the most important mathematical and algorithmic ideas underlying the constraint-based analysis of metabolic networks, and to present some recent results. We will discuss the steady-state flux cone, flux balance analysis (FBA), flux variability analysis (FVA), flux coupling analysis (FCA), and elementary flux modes (EFMs). On the algorithmic side, the focus will be on linear optimisation and mixed-integer optimisation methods.
