QUARENUM: QUAlity and REproducibility in NUMerical simulations
Project description
The QUARENUM project aims at designing and implementing efficient algorithms for numerical validation and reproducibility in high-performance computing (HPC) applications.
This project focuses on various methods to analyze the sensitivity of HPC applications to errors (e.g., simulation of rounding error propagation using stochastic or interval arithmetics, estimation of condition number and backward errors).
These aspects and the objective of reproducibility are studied in the framework of massively parallel heterogeneous architectures.
This project is a collaboration between the laboratories
