Several members of LISN were distinguished with prestigious awards.

CNRS Bronze Medal : Lin Chen
The CNRS bronze medal rewards researchers in the early stages of their career whose work has established them as specialists in their field. This award is a form of encouragement from the CNRS to continue with ongoing research that has already proved successful.
"Lin Chen is a faculty member who specializes in algorithms and networks, in the Graphs, Algorithms and Combinatorics team of the former LRI (now the GALaC team of LISN)."

CNRS Silver Medal: Michel Beaudouin-Lafon
The CNRS silver medal honours researchers for the originality, quality and importance of a body of work that is recognised nationally and internationally.
"Michel Beaudouin-Lafon aims to understand how we use computers, in order to imagine new, simpler and more powerful interactions. His visionary, multidisciplinary approach, based on mathematics, computer science and the human and social sciences, has led to the development of truly generative theories of human-computer interaction."

CNRS Collective Crystal: Cyril Grouin, Patrick Paroubek
The CNRS collective crystal award honours teams of research support staff who have carried out projects with outstanding technical mastery, a collective dimension, applications, innovation and influence.
"The emergence and rapid spread of SARS-CoV-2 revealed the problem of collecting and sharing data, which was essential for analyzing and understanding the evolution and impact of the virus worldwide. This team of engineers has enabled the development of a dynamic mapping of clinical trials linked to the Covid-19 pandemic."

Annual chair at Collège de France: Wendy Mackay
Chaire annuelle "Informatique et sciences numériques": Repenser l'interaction entre l'humain et la machine (Rethinking Interaction between Humans and Machines)
"How can we make computers serve users in the best way? This is the question facing the field of human-computer interaction, to which Wendy Mackay has devoted her career. It is also the subject of a new chair that she will be holding at the Collège de France from early 2022." Article from Inria's website
