PASCAL (Pattern Analysis, Statistical Modelling and Computational Learning) is the Network of Excellence in Machine Learning (2003-2007), with user modeling as driving goal. Coordinated by J. Shawe-Taylor (U. of Southampton), it involves 56 partners among which are the LRI and the Lab. of Maths of UPS. Michèle Sebag is member of the steering committee, and manager of the Challenge programme.
